Karkat had to stop himself from flinching. He should’ve known that question was going to come up at some point or another, he just wasn’t all too ready for it.
“Everything. Everything and anything that could’ve gone wrong, or could go wrong now. I’ve had so many where I have to watch you die again, have to watch almost everyone we know die.” A calming breath, “Once, it was like I was the one culling everyone. Something in me snapped like a fucking psychopath and I went on this killing spree.”
He looked up at the other, eyes narrowed, “You were begging me to stop, Sollux. Do you know how goddamn terrifying that is?”
