I was diagnosed with a severe anxiety disorder back around 2007 and have been struggling with it ever since.

I wouldn’t survive it if not for the people in my life. All of my friends are important, but three always stand out.

Holly (tallest with the jacket), who has been our den mother since 2001. She’s always been protective and supportive and I would never have survived Shawnee State without her.

Ann (with the shortest ponytail and no glasses), one of my best bros, always willing to chill with me when I need to be away from my family, work, or anything else.

Jenn, longest hair, my moirail. I don’t know what to say here. But she’s been one of the best at calming me down in a crisis.

Surviving anxiety is hard, but having people who understand you and care… it really does make a difference.
